Head Boys Coachdeandrebenton1gmail.comDeAndre, a native of Longview, Texas, and a graduate of Longview High School, boasts a robust background in coaching basketball. With 12 years of experience, his career includes stints at Turning Point Christian School, Covenant School Dallas, St. Mary’s Catholic School, and currently as the Varsity Head Girls Coach at Ovilla Christian School. Coach Benton has earned Coach of the Year honors four times and has made one State Championship appearance and three Regional Finals. He has been with Texas Express for three years and has gained valuable insights from Doyle and Sidney Moncrief of Arkansas, Mike McConathy of NSU, Kenneth Talley Jr. of Longview, and the late Kenny Yates.
